Terms of Service

By using the services of BTR Pest Control ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before scheduling any pest control services.
1. Service Agreement
When you schedule pest control services with BTR Pest Control, you are entering into a service agreement. The specific terms, pricing, and scope of work will be discussed and agreed upon before any service begins. Written estimates are provided for all services upon request.
2. Service Area
BTR Pest Control provides services throughout Southeast Michigan, including Wayne, Oakland, Washtenaw, Macomb, and Livingston Counties. Service availability may vary by location. Contact us to confirm service in your area.
3. Pricing and Payment
- Prices are quoted before service and are subject to change based on the scope of work discovered during inspection.
- Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements are made in advance.
- We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
- A $35 fee may apply for returned checks.
4. Warranty Policy
Most BTR Pest Control services include a 90-day warranty:
- We ask that you wait 30 days after treatment for all pests to interact with the applied chemicals.
- If pests persist after 30 days, contact us and we will provide a retreat at no additional cost.
- Warranty coverage requires compliance with any preparation instructions provided.
- Warranty does not cover new infestations from different pest species or re-infestations due to structural issues.
- Some services (bed bugs, cockroaches, fleas) may require multiple treatments and have specific warranty terms discussed at time of service.
5. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure effective treatment, customers agree to:
- Provide accurate information about pest problems and property conditions.
- Complete any required preparation before treatment (cleaning, clearing areas, etc.).
- Ensure safe access to the property for our technicians.
- Keep pets and children away from treated areas as instructed.
- Follow all post-treatment instructions provided by our technicians.
6. Safety and Access
- All chemicals used are EPA-approved, stain-less, and odor-less.
- Customers may be required to vacate the premises during and after treatment (typically 4-6 hours for interior treatments).
- BTR Pest Control is not responsible for items left in treatment areas.
- We require clear access to treatment areas and may decline service if safe access cannot be provided.
7. Cancellation Policy
- Please provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule appointments.
- Same-day cancellations may result in a service call fee.
- No-shows may be charged a trip fee.
8. Limitation of Liability
BTR Pest Control's liability is limited to the cost of services provided. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We carry comprehensive liability insurance for your protection.
9. Property Damage
While we take great care during all services, BTR Pest Control is not responsible for pre-existing damage or damage caused by pest activity. Any claims for damage must be reported within 48 hours of service completion.
10. Website Use
The content on our website is for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all information is current or error-free. Pricing and service details on the website are subject to change without notice.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Wayne County, Michigan.
